Fantastic I went on my birthday which was free very clean and well maintained sauna friendly reception and bar staff. Go and have some fun highly recommended

To be honest I was disappointed with my visit last week to the Basement. The actual place, rooms etc were fine, sauna and steam room were good The 2 hot tubs were very small , personally I feel one large tub would be better. Not having the ability to pay for things at the bar on your locker key, then settling up when you leave was a missed opportunity for the company, as I would have spent another £5 or more at the bar. But due to my wallet being in the locker I gave it a miss. I went on a towels day which was quite busy, but most people there thought this meant towels are compulsory, even in the sauna and steam room people would be wearing their towels. I got the feeling that the clientèle were there for the spa experience and not for cruising and playing in a gay sauna.

Very good sauna and well cared for. You can meet loads of men wanting the same as you and the atmosphere is relaxed. Drinks very good and the staff quite pleasant. Provide a nice place to be.

Friday & Saturday nights is when i go and it can be busy and lots of action, shapelessly after the bars. Bit expensive though its now £17 not 16
